WHAT WE FOUND ON THE DANCEFLOOR

An independent nightlife summit for party, events, and nightlife organisers.

Weds 12th June | 11am-5pm | Pay What You Can.

At B:Music, Birmingham.

WHAT WE FOUND ON THE DANCEFLOOR is a day for producers, promoters, and people who make nightlife events and parties happen to come together and talk about accessibility, fundraising, audiences, and share our experiences of making nightlife events happen.

Join MOBILISE (Birmingham’s accessible sober dance party) for a day’s programme of workshops, talks and panel discussions. The day will also include the launch of a new free resource to help event organisers find practical ways to make their events more accessible, this resource has been co-created by the MOBILISE steering group based on our experiences of creating an accessible dance party.

This event is particularly aimed at independent nightlife promoters, organisers, producers, and people who are trying to make good stuff happen in those contexts. It might also be useful for small venue managers, smaller festival organisers, and people who work with independent nightlife organisers.

Pay What You Can tickets are on sale now, tickets include lunch.

We are pleased to offer a limited number of bursaries of £100 per person to enable independent/self-employed nightlife organisers to attend the event who otherwise wouldn’t be able to participate.

ALL THE LOVERS

A night of live queer music & dancing.

Weds 12th June | 7:30pm | £5 (free tickets available for anyone on a low income)
B:Music, Birmingham.

Join MOBILISE for ALL THE LOVERS, a big brummy night of live music and dancing celebrating some of our favourite independent queer music artists from across the UK including Pink Suits, Mickey Callisto, Spit XL, & more.

Hosted by the powerhouse cabaret iconolast Midgitte Bardot, expect a joyous, silly, sexy, line-up of live vocals and music across a range of genres to get your heart beating and your bodies dancing. The night will finish with a set from Fatt Project’s own Big Fatt Dance Party with live vocals and interactive dance routines to get us dancing together.

Tickets are on sale now for £5 each, free tickets are available for anyone on a low income.

Please be aware, this event is taking place in a venue with a bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks.
